« on: Mon, 22 November 2010, 05:57:22 »
anyone know the switches inside the SIIG JKAB0211:

I think it's a rubber dome...

Yeah, all the modern SIIGs minis are rubber domes. The old ones (minitouch series) are ALPS.

i think this is not a new one.
it comes whith DIN connector.

in the description:
...
- Switch mechanism: Mechanical-key switch
...
and
...
- High-quality key switches for the "click" and "feel" that typists prefer
...

But what Mechanical-key switch?

Text can be misleading. Have the seller pull a key and take a picture of what's underneath to be sure.

I can say for sure it's not mechanical because I own one.
It's rubber dome under plastic hammers. It has decent stiffness and tactility for a rubber dome but still rubber.

Any Siig Minitouch (Plus) or BTC 5100 with arrow keys arranged as an inverted L is the dome version. Another difference are the square function row keys. On the alps version they're rectangular.
