what would you do?

Say you just bought a keyboard knowing that it did not have the switches or LED's you wanted because no options were given for either but you really liked the setup.  What do you do when it arrives?  Tear it apart and change out the keys and or LED's or wait until after the warranty is expired?  Price under $150US.

I think warranty on a keyboard is overrated. Try it out. If it works, then it works, and warranty is finished. If you decide to mod it and break it, that's on you. So yes, if I wanted different LEDs and switches, it'd be time to start modding that board.
