Powder coating help
« on: Thu, 23 August 2012, 14:27:40 »
My kmac has the 2 tone case and its really bothersome. I want to powder coat it but can't pick a color...

I was thinking matte black case and shocker blue plate. Or dirty grey case with shocker red plate.

Any other ideas?

Glossy Ti/ Gunmetal powder coat with double rainbow flake.

For the plate, definitely something bright like aqua.

I made a dark gray case with a bright solid green plate.

That looks pretty darn sharp with a beige/gray key set and accent keys in red or orange.

They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.

I've always wanted to paint something a copper orange with gold flake.  I have never done it, although I threatened to do it with an '89 GTI 16V (because I hate red cars, but I was too lazy to actually strip it, sand it, and shoot it.)  Something like this.
Filco Majestouch-2 with Cherry Corp. doubleshot keys - Leopold Tenkeyless Tactile Force with Wyse doubleshots - Silicon Graphics 9500900 - WASD V1 - IBM Model M 52G9658 - Noppoo Choc Pro with Cherry lasered PBT keycaps - Wyse 900866-01 - Cherry G80-8200LPBUS/07 - Dell AT101W - several Cherry G81s (future doubleshot donors) (order of current preference) (dang I have too many keyboards, I really only need two)

That's nice. Reminds me of the burnt turbo orange.

I would do a flat black outer body and then a blue-ish purple plate, but that's just me

Sounds weird, but I think I would do matte army green with a cyan plate
