WASD O-rings
« on: Tue, 13 November 2012, 19:25:41 »
I just ordered a sampler kit from them and I was wondering if those rings will work on BS and Alps switches too, or are they made specifically for MX switches?

I have tried O-rings on both Alps and buckling springs, and neither worked.

But maybe someone else could succeed where I failed!

PS - I also tried it with orthodontic rubber bands from my daughter's braces, which are even smaller and thinner than most commercial O-rings, and they were still too much.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

They're the most effective for mx, but do have a slight effect for ALPS. It's a bit of a stretch to get the over the stems of ALPS switches though. I can't comment on BS switches.

I'm actually surprised no one else tried O-rings on ALPS. But then again, the ALPS market is extremely small.

If you like the o-rings, I have a 104 set that came with my WASD. I don't use them anymore so you can have them if I can borrow your Realforce (if you do buy it) for a week ^___^
