Don't knock it until you see one in person. I was sceptical until got one for partial trade and let me tell you, the detail is phenominal. It boggles my mind that he does these by hand.

+ 1 agreed.... one can just tell the impressiveness of the keycaps just by looking at the size alone. The amount of craftsmanship and effort put into such a small form... and yea.... they are made by hands.... i am still thinking "how the hell he make those small sanding and polishing on such a small thing?!"

If you don't like it, don't buy it haha.
But not until one sees them in person, and watched in awe as the light glistens off its metallic surface, can one appreciate the amount of effort and time which has gone into these.
Can they be cheaper? Maybe.
But I think paying for artistic creativity is always worth it, as I know for a fact that I could never produce anything close to this.

But that is just my opinion =D.

I fully appreciate that they are hand made but I'm not really into them, especially at that price. I've always thought shiny metal things to be tacky in most situations...but, if someone can send me one to demo I will give a more comprehensive review.

i'm surprised that they aren't sold out yet... the brobot ones were gone in 30mins, clacks gone in 10seconds. maybe it's because of the price... but with quality comes price i guess

I don't think boiler has updated it since last night. I don't expect these to be up much longer. As an owner of two ironmans I can say that they're worth every penny. The detail and quality are unmatched. It's hard to compare them to clacks or brobots mainly because they're completely different.

I somehow believe that because they're metal alloys they're much, much more difficult to make during the r&d phase.
