it's plate mounted on a red acrylic plate which may or may not be cracked as well. quote me please!
It's actually PCB-mounted, and you can tell because plate-mounted stabilizers have the extra notches and 4 little corner posts where the stem is. It looks like that top part of your acrylic is cracked as well, but that shouldn't affect the stabilizers. Just from looking at it, I'm not sure there is enough clearance on the plate to remove the stabs. You might have to desolder every switch and remove the plate before you can remove the stabs, like alaricljs said.
Try to just push it back down on the PCB instead. I might have just popped up from the holes.
