I'm very interested in redirection services ever since I noticed amazon.co.jp has Topre keyboards starting for as low as 100 euros  (Also Leopold's topre appears to be only 130 euros locally and shops may also offer products that simply don't exist in the west: rare keycaps, other tech sets, Japanese boards for exactly the same price, etc.)

I had heard of tenso.com sending from amazon.co.jp or other Asian shops.

What are your experiences in those services? Are they fast? Do they ship reliably? Are you getting customs fees? Though I guess it might largely depend on the country. e.g. here we have a 150 euros free customs limit, elsewhere it be might lower, higher, none or free.

Are you actually looking for a proxy service?
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Used tenso twice for 2 hhkbs and a wrist rest and so far so good:)

Delivery is quick too, 3-5 days after they receive the items from wherever I ordered from(both times Amazon JP)

Edit: I'm situated in Singapore so it's not too expensive but it could be more expensive for you.

I've used Tenso several times, from keyboards to pen ink to game stuff. They ship fast and I've never once has to pay customs.
Shipping can be a bit pricey as it is EMS, but at least it is reliable. Average price for a keyboard to me in Canada for shipping is $30.

I've used Tenso three times to forward to the US. It was was fast and reliable. I wasn't charged any customs fees. It was about 2 days from Amazon.jp to Tenso. (They're both in Tokyo.) Maybe 2 days at Tenso before their next shipping date. And then 3-5 days in transit, through customs, and at my door. I paid about $50 in shipping and Tenso fees each time for fullsized and TKL boards. HHKB might be cheaper since it's lighter.

USPS will require a signature, so someone will have to be home to sign, or they'll leave to note for you to come pick it up at the post office.

Tenso also recently started a new policy of identity verification. You'll have to scan and email them some form of ID with name and address before they ship to you. And the first shipment needs to go to the address on the ID. You can ship to any address after the first shipment arrives at your confirmed address.
