Question about kmac2
« on: Thu, 15 August 2013, 04:37:10 »
Hello,

I've got a question about the kmac2.

http://kbdmod.com/product/detail.html?product_no=28&cate_no=4&display_group=1

Here, you can see a picture of what's called "kmac2 colored edition"
But i'm confused about the case : you can see one regular angled black case but also a red case with a design that that remind me of a 456 gt.
So my question is : what is this ? is this really a kmac2 ? (the red one)

Think KMACs are usually anodized in Titanium or Black and the colored means its red. Don't see why it wouldn't be legit.

No I mean the case design.
If you look at the link you can clearly see 2 different cases.

I also meant the cases. Unfortunately, the link doesn't work for me since I'm at work.

It's got options for a silver and a red case. It also seems to have a weird design to the back corners of the case.

I did NOT realize all those were one conjoined pic, my bad!

So it looks like they changed the case design. If it's from KBDmod, I'm pretty sure it's legit. The picture of the black board is the older KMACs it seems: KMAC LE, 1.2, or 1.

It's a new design of KMAC. KBDMod is 100% legit, and that is a real KMAC not some ripoff.

yep it's confirmed.
Thanks for the answers.

Another noob question question : with a winkey configuration, what's the size of the mods and spacebar ?

Winkey - 1.25x mods, 6.25x spacebar
Winkeyless - 1.5x mods, 7x spacebar (1x winkey, or 1x blockers)
