When I started looking into buying a mech about a year or so ago, I did a LOT of research. I ended up spending most of my time researching here on GH and I was really impressed with how helpful everyone was. After I bought my keyboard, I kinda forgot about you all.
But then I started looking for another keyboard and realized I missed you all.
I have been much more active in the past 4-5 months and I am really enjoying everyone on here. I love all the ideas and the willingness to experiment. I love trying things and thinking outside the box to solve problems. This community really fosters that sort of contribution, so I have felt very at home here.
Now I am jumping head first into the modding and building game. I have hundreds of switches headed my way as well as a couple pcbs, plates and I got a HID for my Filco. I am all setup with soldering station and such as well, so I can't wait for everything to arrive so I can start putting some of this stuff together.
I have an idea for a super minimal case which "should" have a lot of really attractive features (as well as being low cost), so I am really excited to get my PCBs to start doing some testing. Be on the lookout for this...
I have been involved with many communities in the past and I have never felt as welcome and appreciated as I do here. Love you guys...
