When at work, I keep my ML keyboards in a cabinet, as I don't want people to get the wrong idea.  After all, it's not like I actually use them, except for travel.

My BS and MX keyboards are either on my desk or on top of my cube shelf, so everyone can see them.

That's easy don't stick keyboards where they don't naturally fit and if they do fit your one sick person.

Also sticky substances will ruin keyboards so get a cover for it.
