Keyboard Lubricant

Not sure if this has been discussed in a single thread before.....
What do you suggest as a lubricant for sticky keys? I tried first of all electric shaver lube on a couple keys and it worked OK, but had a "smell" to it. Then i remembered i had silicone spray i bought to loosen up vertical blind tracks and it worked great! (i got this from Spotlight - a local habedasher)
Anyway - it had loosened the sticky keys (shift and enter) and it feels like my NIB model M again (did this to a M)
Ill let you know if it stops working!

If you get key binding problems on a Model M, it's usually time to inspect things a little more closely. You may have cracks in the plastic, or broken rivets.

While my silicone spray treatment didn't do much for my Model M RShift in the long run, I have successfully used it on a Cherry G81 (as you may read in another thread here).
