Hey guys.
Does anyone know a very reliable guy on GH that lives in europe and does keyboard modding for money. I contacted Margo baggins, but since i looked up the postal prices for NA and since they're very high, i was thinking to let someone in Europe do it. So, could someone reliable put clears in my FILCO? Halp please!

Margo is based in the UK, not in NA. Not sure if he's currently accepting work, as he is in the midst of moving houses.

According to the artisan service directory, he is the only one based in Europe. We have many users in the US, and a few in Canada who provide this service as well.

For the record, clears are amazing, and you won't regret them. Typed on my QFR with clears.

Haha, the moment i got them i immediately took one out to try it. The tactile feedback is amazing, can't wait to try them when they're in the board. Don't know about ergo clears, i really like the general feel of stock clears. I will keep them that way. Amazing  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Perhaps consider getting a soldering iron (if you can afford it also a desolder-gun) and practice on some broken/junk electronics...
It's a skill that might help you in many occasions in your future (other KB modding, fixing broken electronics) and it's not that hard to learn!

I actually did this but on a working board. One of my stems came out when I was swapping caps. Watched a couple youtube videos and went ahead a swapped the switch. My skills have improved a lot since then and now I'm waiting on switches in the mail to swap my QFR from brown to red.

I would highly recommend trying it yourself. It will save time and money.
