Need some advice
« on: Wed, 16 July 2014, 18:21:05 »
So I found some one who wants to trade my qfr with His razer tournament edition 2013. What do you guys think? I love back lit, but is there any decrease in quality?
Are the cherry switches quality the same. I do not mind about keycaps as I have sets my self.

Thank you!

Make sure you run it through Aquakeytest before you do the trade

if everything works I think it's an even trade.

Personally I'd rather have a QFR.

Keep your QFR!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Good choice. In the long run I think you'll be happy you stuck with your QFR.

Ducky Shine 3, CMStorm QuickFire Rapid-i.

There are other options, but many of them either don't have a standard bottom row, or are not near the quality of those 2.

The Déck Hassium and Francium are decent, too. They actually have very good keycaps despite the controversial font used.
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.
