Unfortunately, you'll have to open the case up and de-solder the broken switch. The stock Ducky plate doesn't allow for switch top removal for easy stem swapping. =/

You won't be able to remove the switch top regardless, due to the plate blocking the legs from opening.

If you try and rip the top casing off, you'll just end up doing more damage.

"Rip out the LED"

You cannot rip out an LED without damaging the PCB.

The LED at least willr rquire resoldering.

To get the clips in properly to hold the top of the switch on you will need to remove the switch, which will also require desoldering.

Ill probably wait next week to get a real soldering iron because apparently soldering guns get too hot. I just assume I'm bad at soldering  because it never sticks and the iron gets so hot that its starts smoking because I'm using a soldering gun

Its something that looks like this

Yeah, soldering guns aren't meant for hobbyist precision work.  :p

So all I have to do is open up the keyboard and desolder the switch and open it up and put back the stem in it?

or do I have to buy a new switch and solder it in

Depends on whether the switch is damaged or not.

If you're not sure, maybe some kind soul here would offer you a replacement switch if you ask nicely :)
