this appears to be for a kendama like the one John had.

The first pictures show a kendamausa tribute like CPTBadAss's, and an official orzoa kendama like mine. I think only the last few pictures oare from the item you'll get.
this one appears to be a clone of the kendamausa ones.
this type appears to also be a clone of the kendamausa ones, but costs $.20 more and has a cool paint job

I recommend actual kendamausa kendamas like these ones that Lingj has one of.
I am considering upgrading from teh Orzoa one I have to a TK16 master one, also tournament legal. here is a link

I was looking at the one with the crackle paint for myself (as a gift for my daughter that wants one).  Have you seen/used these clones before?  I am assuming the main difference is the quality of materials, but is there something else I am missing?

For a couple bucks I can't complain, of course I have nothing to compare it to. I managed to catch it using the bottom a few times but that was the extent of it, my wife just look at me like I was crazy. I had considered letting the kids try but I think they would just end up using it as a weapon.

These look to be the same item and are priced at a $1.78 shipped. I'm not really into Kendama, but that's a good deal if you are.

Hashbaz had one like this at keycon. It's easier to spike but the springy (and super long) cord made everything difficult. I would not recommend it over a JKA certified kendama.

Just to clarify, that kendama does not belong to me.  I'd never heard of kendama before Keycon.

Whose kendama was that then? Spooky.
