wireless keyboard w/ trackpad needed

Moved my macmini to tv and now need a wireless keyboard with trackpad to use from bed. Any good ones out there? Im eyeing the logitech k400 since the price is cheap but wanted to see if anybody had any experience with it or something similar. Bluetooth or dongle doesnt matter.

Well I got the k400r pretty much the same thing and it is great for when you are eating and don't wanna dirty your mech. But it has a short R shift to the right of the up arrow key. Its best features are the mouse button (to control the cursor), F1 button as as 'panic' button to immediately hide ur nefarious activities and show the desktop, and sweet trackpad. It's the no. 1 selling keyboard on amazon for a reason.


Caveat: don't get in the habit of holding in your left hand like I did for hours while surfing geekhack. It'll give u ulnar deviation problems.

ended up buying it, only 25 bucks so meh. we'll see how it goes.

You can actually somewhat control the trackpad from the back side of the keyboard.  So you may end up controlling the mouse accidentally if you rest the keyboard on your knee or something.

Please explain. If you need no panic button you can leave ur bbw for all to see but it's usefull as well to just show ur desktop. Hard copy or just the picture?

i pressed f1 (with and without fn) and all it did was select a picture on my desk top (my old avy) and duplicate it.

fn+f11 does the trick tho

f1 was a lie yes. correction: press the same button without pressing FN at the same time. How u worked that out pressing a copy of a picture shows u r not as uninformed as previously noted.

but the panic button is there.

mmm nope, but it makes the CCs look like DDs

correction to self: read the f'ing post. Glad u like it! Gotta wipe the trackpad of tissue rebound for seemless function once in a while or it won't work to good.

but yeah buy it great htpc controller just watch the ulnar deviation - htpc hand
