Take switch apart.
Scan each part with 3D scanner.

While you are at it could you please whip me up taller versions of Red switches and Brown switches? Something with 8mm to 12mm of travel would be perfect. MegaThanx!
I could do this actually but who would make them for you?
I have no Earthly idea.
I only currently have $1000.00 to put toward this project. I am pretty sure that $1000.00 is exactly the same thing as $0.00 for getting a new switch made. That isn't even enough to bribe SP into making tall keycaps for the switches.
So basically this is a great big giant problem.
The only way to solve a seemingly impossible problem is to break it down into tiny little steps that can be successfully accomplished.
If you could somehow create working cad files and stretch them accordingly then maybe someone else might show up who can solve another piece of the puzzle.
If the switches in the cad files have mounting apparatus compatible to Cherry MX then it makes building a prototype keyboard much much easier as we would just take any random keyboard made for MX switches and mount the prototypes on that.
I don't even know where to get the long springs from. Perhaps there is a certain size already manufactured that I could buy that might be some certain length. We could then adjust the CAD files based on that available length.
A zero-impact keyboard switch would be a major technological advance for civilization.
