SSK has some bad columns

From this image here, it seems that some of the columns for my SSK are bad... how would I go about fixing this?

First thing I'd do is open it up and reseat the connectors in the controller.

If I had another M with that style controller board (SSK or not) I'd switch boards and see what I get.

The first problem is opening it up.... I'm going to need a sturdy pen and something to melt it with...

These are the newest results... it seems that the some of the keys have reverted to being bad for some reason.

It does make sense.  The PgUp/PgDn are the only keys on that trace on an SSK, and F2-F4 shares the column with 3 down.

The connector I'm talking about is the ribbon connectors that go into the controller board.  If you're getting mixed results like this that would lead me to believe the connector there is dirty/corroded and it's getting intermittent contact.   Reseating them may do the trick. If it doesn't,  a *GENTLE* cleaning with a damp cloth of the ribbon connectors may help as well.   Clean them in the direction of the trace, not across all of them at once.
