if you buy good stickers they won't leave residue, but will still stick

I don't put stickers on my things because it ruins the elegance of the object permanently.

I put mine carefully inside a box, make sure they are flat, and then usually forget about them until I sort through the box.

Contrast that with my daughter who immediately applies any stickers she gets to the nearest flat surface

I'm interested in customizing Macbook Pro 17" cause it's such a big slab of cool aluminum, but can't figure what to do.

Short on-topic story: once lived in an apartment where someone kicked a sizeable hole in the wall. Luckily the drywall sort of fell out on two or three large chunks, so we taped them all  together with a big 24X19 Gwar sticker and then stuck that to the wall where the hole was. When we moved out a few months later the landlord tried to remove the sticker and pulled the wall out with it and totally thought she caused the damage. Never paid a dime to fix the wall. )

I used to just whack them on the side of my old case. Now they go on my TV or a few go inside the door of my new PC case because I really like the look outside.
