Boards of that type are pretty common but they tend to feel nasty, so don't get your hopes up.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

I don't see they can be making money off those. $20 pretty much just covers shipping considering those look pretty heavy

I agree.  I think they want to just get rid of them actually.  However, selling them to someone who can use the components is better than throwing them away.  I think that is what they are doing to be honest.

When I saw these it piqued my interest and I made an offer of $17.50 which I almost immediately regretted.

Anyway, they took it, so I have one on the way. Maybe I will get lucky and it will be a cool item.
