Would a Vortex Aluminum Case bring my QFR TKL back to life?

So I got a Topre board, and it makes my QFR TKL w/ mx blues feel puny by comparison. I think it's because the QFR TKL housing is plasticy. It just sounds plasticy and cheap. Would a vortex aluminum housing make it sound better? Anyone with experience on this?

MX Blues do just sound plasticky and cheap. No way around that that I know of.

A metal case will definitely make the whole board feel more solid and better to use, but you may have to try a non-clicky MX switch (such as 62g ErgoClears, ahem) to improve the sound and feel.

I have noticed that an aluminum case tends to emphasize high-pitched frequencies, to it would make you keyboard sound even farther from the Topre "Thock" than it is now.

I think it would not save your QFR TKL.

My TEX aluminum case does make my V60 feel more solid. On the down side, it emphasizes the ping that clear switches have but I don't really mind.
