If this is crazy and insane even for Americans, imaging how I feel as a foreigner who's not familiar with this country. :(
Considering homicides, Saint Louis is in top 50 least safe cities in the world.

Just move somewhere else. Murica big and diverse.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Remind me never to move to St Louis.

+1 If I lived there currently, I'd be looking to move.  :(  It's a shame though because there's a lot of potential there.

There was a protest again 2 days ago in St. Louis. :( Damn, I was originally looking for an offer from Saint Louis University, and now I'm thinking of some other options.

So I only just saw how this turned out.

Did you get your car back? What is the insurance going to do? I imagine there is a load of blood in your car as well if they drove themselves to the hospital in it =/

Not yet, since it's now considered an evidence. They don't know when they'll release the car. I just hope the insurance will total the car instead of reparing it. An officer came earlier today saying there're 18 bullet holes on the car and a load of blood in it.
