i got the last  :p

Not quite. Like Photekq said, it looks like he has a lot that he sits on and just posts a couple whenever he wants.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/SKIDATA-PS-2-MULTIMEDIA-MECHANICAL-KEYBOARD-TASTATUR-TRACKBALL-CHERRY-KEYS-PS-2/311553322768?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107083420%26meid%3De9cab363438f49fca726e5714d9f1e20%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D272138786896

By the way how would I get this shipped over to the US? Maybe I'm just dumb, but anyone have any info? Also, how did you all contact the buyer to get the price dropped?

he is, and he's raising the price every time they sell or enough people ask about it. I hope some of the crap he's hawking burns his shop down.

He's a commercial vendor and he's making profit by applying the trivial rule of "higher the demand, higher the price". It might be annoying to pay more for something that was cheaper but calling him names and wishing him disasters won't get you any discount.

I know it won't, but neither has emailing him. And either way he was making a profit. I can hate on him just like anyone else can hate on ticketmaster for having a monopoly on a product, and price gauging it.

But like it's his product he can do whatever he wants with them. You can be salty all you want, but it won't get you the product unless you want to pony-up and buy it.

I feel like geekhack needs a Economics for Dummies thread you have to read before joining.

If it was at this price from the beginning, I can immediately buy it without a thought, but the way he raising it make me think again. And yes if we are all agreed not to support the monopolizing, he would reduce it with time. Just follow the shop and see.

If someone's not going to be using the switches from one of these boards, I'd love a set of Clears from them.  Neatly desoldered or attached to PCB, either way.  Or at least the stems + springs (PCB-mounted switches with no plate, open easily).

yeah and the new 5 boards are still there, which means everyones dont want him to raise that much. If he would like to sell, he should settle down the price in future. Just calm him down :D
