DIY Keyboard

So I was wondering, what some good keyboard kits to buy? I'd like to build a mechanical keyboard along with leds and was wondering who could point me out in the right direction.

You didn't give us a lot of information here so I'm going to assume this is your first build and that you know your way around a soldering iron.

I'd start with this kit: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/sentraq-60-diy-keyboard-kit?mode=guest_open

No LEDs but a respectable number of options for customization and it has literally everything you'll need including the USB cable -- at a fantastic price.  Make sure you read through ALL the comments before you commit to buy so you can see what others are saying about the board.  Good luck!

B.87 from winkeyless and NerD TKL from GON if you want to splurge.

Otherwise, there's a TKL kit on aliex. Just search Keycool DIY. You'll need to supply your own switches, LEDs and keycaps
