Cherry Green and White

My varmilo va87 buy is being modified. They told me they dont have clears available. My only choice is greens and whites. I've tried blues from Kailh, Outemu, Gateron and Cherry. My job entails hours of typing. Which of the two are preferable?

Any time, If I had experience with any of the switches, I would give you an opinion.

I've owned both switch types. Greens are really nice but I've realized they're too heavy for me when I'm on really long typing sessions. I preferred Whites for longer sessions in front of a keyboard.

remember that the white has been revised
it used to have an inconsistent click, and labeled as failed switch
but they've revised it and now have a constant click, it's softer click with tactile

though I like the old one where it has more tactile feel IMO

friend who is a distributor of varmilo who ordered boards with whites

I own a board with old whites and it required me to buy 220 switches from 7bit to get enough with constant click for a full size
and I've also tried the new whites

Varmilo was able to "Find" some 87 cherry mx clears for me. Said they didn't "notice". Is it normal for them to charge 45 $ extra for the clears(from the base cherry switches)? I paid by the way. The whole custom varmilo cost me 220$ with shipping

No not really. They are probably price gouging sadly

No not really. They are probably price gouging sadly

So all cherry switches are usually around the same price?

I have previously owned MX Green Switch and found that it was too heavy for long usage, but I'm currently having a board with MX White in my collection.
Both Green and White are clicky switch with similar weight (both are too heavy for daily usage), MX white comes with quieter clicks and it seems a bit more smooth- apart from that both offers similar feedback.

I have read lots of review stating that MX white often comes with inconsistent click, but I did not have that problem with my KBT 108.. or maybe I'm lucky?

MX green is only like MX blue but heavier,  with no bounce.
 
MX white is like MX blue mixed with MX black and bounce quickly and strongly.

The tactile for MX green happens earlier and higher than MX white .  The tactile for MX white happen approximate to the bottom of plate.

in my oponion , MX white is more adequent for constant using than MX green.
