Help choosing switches

So I'm looking for nice switches for my next keeb. I wanted to get navy box switches, but the sound level seems to be too high (any sound much louder than an mx white is a problem). It would be awesome if anyone could recommend a quiet switch with similar tactility to the navys. Thanks

78g Zealio's?

I personally love clicky switches but if you want quiet a regular tactile switch is likely better and those are pretty decently heavy like the Navy Blues. 


The other option would be Box Burn Oranges.  Same spring as the Navy Blues without the click bar.

Not box, but I'll always recommend 70g Kailh Burnt Oranges. (I think Kailh has box equivalents ).

Can't go wrong with Zealios. With each iteration/round they to get even better.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'm interested in both, but I kind of want a crisp, almost clicky/crunchy freeling rather than a smooth bump like mx browns. Would the zealios or box switches be closer to this?

With Zealios, anything 65g or higher gets into the territory I think you're wanting. 67g might be a good place to start.

I have a batch of the Kailh Burnt Orange, and honestly, they feel more like a linear switch to me.  With the stiffer spring, the tactility actually feels less prominent than on the lighter brown box switch.  Maybe because you need more force to push the spring down, that it masks some of the force you'd need to get past the bump.

65g Zealios are the most tactile switch I own, but I don't have anything stiffer than that to compare to. I'd say they have a more noticeable bump than the box burnt orange.

EDIT: welp they sold out of 75g, looks like I need to look for something else. Outemu ice dark purple is supposedly similar to zealios, can anyone confirm this?

There is certainly merit in this observation. For me, I feel the bump more on the release then the press. The bump is also much closer to the top of the travel, as apposed to other switches where the tactile feedback is at the middle. For me, I like a smooth linear switch, but also love a stiff tactile bump; Burnt Oranges are a happy medium.
