Pro Micro controller questions?
« on: Fri, 30 March 2018, 09:35:49 »
Hello everyone got some questions about the Pro Micro controller,
I am considering building a gherkin or something which induces a pro micro,
I was wondering though are their any pro micros that have USB C or USB mini?
because I don't enjoy using micro usb as a connector so I was wondering are
their other pro micros that work with these projects?

Thanks for the help
and have a nice week ;)

I proxy anything including keyboards (キーボード / 鍵盤), from both Japan (日本) and China (中國). For more information, you may visit my dedicated webpage here: https://www.keyboards.es/proxying.html

Does that work in a pro micro slot?

I don't know what a Pro Micro slot is.

Pro Micro and Teensy 2.0 have different layouts and pinouts so they are not interchangeable. You are to use the controller for which the board is designed to work with. One thing you could do is using a USB Mini-B breakout board but it's honestly not worth it.
My opensource projects: GH80-3000, TOAD, XMMX. Classified: stuff

Oh that's what he means. You could always but a connector and solder it yourself, though I can't say for sure whether you'd have any issues with connector dimensions. In general USB-C is almost as small as micro though so I think it should work.

the proton c is a replacement for the pro micro...it has type c

red it link:  https://www.reddit.com/r/olkb/comments/87uo3l/a_proton_c_companion_for_split_boards/

the smaller is the electron...if you want to do a split build...as opposed to two pro micros
