Im using the Ergodox EZ with the following layout

Now I would like to try a Minidox using the exact same layout with dual function keys and auto shift and all the other things I have gotten used to with the Ergodox EZ. However its very unclear to me what is actually supported by the QMK default configurator
https://config.qmk.fm/#/minidox/rev1/LAYOUT and how much is special for the Ergodox EZ. Is there anyone that has expereince with both?
