nice collection, but you might want to move that to the keyboard pics section (top of the page, it's stickied). It's mean't for showing off your collection.

I dunno, I think this should last me. G80 for my room computer, Model M for the workshop, G84 for travel, and an MX11800... I might sell that one, or keep it as a spare.

If I were to get a new keyboard it would be one of the expensive, nice boards. Filco, Das, Deck, Ducky, I-Rocks, Unicomp... At most I might get a keyboard to try out MX blues, but I think I'm set for the time being.

Gotta try Blues!  #1 in the Switch Poll for good reason.

Isn't that $67 compact layout Adesso just a WEE tempting?

It would be, except that I have $0.25 in my bank account at the moment.

And last I checked it was $51+shipping at Provantage.

I love those little G84's with ML switches.  I had to spend some time on one at a client and have been looking for a cheap one since.

You may want to check out Jbert's sig...

Given a year, you will have at least 10 boards. Trust me on this. I'm not a collector, and have 2 boards arrive in the last 2 days, with at least 3 more on the way. That has taken me up to, and past the Keyboard Approval Level imposed by the other half. You have no chance, you're infected. Just like the rest of us. Even Welly has relapsed.

The problem I found is that there is no one perfect keyboard.  You may find a feel/sound you like, but the layout sucks or the keys are too heavy.  You keep buying 'boards trying to find the perfect combination, but you never will.  Either that, or you actually do find a 'board that's perfect for you, but you keep buying others to see how they compare.

For me, I love Cherry browns.  I also love the layout of the HHKB.  Now, I live in this state of swapping between the two all the time, because neither one is perfect.  Hopefully, this will be solved for me if the Miniguru ever comes out.
