G80-8113HRBUS-2 for $35 possibly less

I just received mine today, I made the offer of 30 dollars and it was accepted so you might be able to lowball that number. let others know how low you can go.

The board that I received has white cherry switches (could be clear but I doubt it, it has short springs if that lets anyone know the difference), NKRO, and seems in fine condition. the spiral cord is kinda stretched out and the texture has been worn off most of the double shot alpha and numpad keys. disassembled I noticed that some liquid had been spilled around the left hand control alt area and it was full of dust bunnies and occasional paper clip. all the keys work fine in light of this. I didn't test out the touch pad because I don't have much use for it unless someone knows how I can reassign it to do something else.

The seller shipped it fedex in a massive box sandwiched between two pieces of egg crate foam for just five dollars. so overall I feel like it was a good buy.

EDIT: this board is similar in layout to the mx-8100 review follows http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:7415
What this guy says about the layout is pretty much on spot about how I feel about it. the board also has a grip of macro keys, the only issue I have with them is it doesn't look like you can set a time delay on them. it's possible that I just don't know how to set the delay also.

If you are looking for a good gamer board for cheap this would be hard to beat, I think I personally like the white switches over the black switches so far.

Ok then, I was thinking clears are rare and whites are the majority. I guess that makes me a good American.

It's a decent alternative to that G80-8200 I just got. However, NIB > Refurbished, you get a brand new, clean board instead of one that's been spilled on. Plus new switches feel slightly better than used ones (comparing my 8200 to my 11800). Plus you get the software with it.

Trade-offs, eh?

I downloaded the software from here. http://www.cherry.de/english/service/download.php

Also if you didn't know you can program macros by holding shift ctrl alt on both sides of the keyboard for a few seconds till it beeps. open note pad or something that displays text and it will sort of show you what's going on. press a programmable key, press the sequence of keys you want then press the programmable key again. I think you exit the whole process by hitting space without any macro key edit open.

I can always sand blast my worn key caps.

If you're happy with the purchase, then that's all that matters.

It's interesting that they shipped it with fedex and packaged it so well... I wish my intellistation was shipped with fedex, it would have saved me a nervous breakdown.
