Hello friends!
I guess the first thing I should do is introduce myself.
My name is Craig, I’m an apprentice learning to tattoo in southern Maryland.

I draw pretty much every day, it’s always been part of who I am.
Carving keycaps sounded and looked fun so I just threw myself into it.
I started messing around with carving keycaps around the end of 2018.
Before starting to make keys I did a commission for Keyforge in late 2017 and it’s what led me to the madness that is artisan keycaps.
I have 4 designs so far and a few already planned to be made!

These are a few of the keys I’ve made recently!

I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and getting some input on my keys.
I’m just starting out so this is all still a learning process for me!
I would be more than happy to answer any questions!
I apologize in advance if I take a little while to reply, sometimes I have gloves on all day and don’t have a chance to get to my phone/tablet.

I’m trying to be better about carving keys that I can easily do multishots

Yeah I’ve done a little bit myself and the key to multishot seems to be all in the design. Some things are just easier to get multi color going based on the geometry

oh man it makes such a difference !
the medusa and hannya keys are really difficult to make multishot. but i learned so much from them forsure.
i really like solid colored keys for some reason, and the marble look is really pleasing to me.
