There was a previous listing by the same seller. The present listing is for the type : G80-11900LPMGB-2 which is Cherry MX Black switches with laser printed key-caps. According to the seller, the previous listing of kbds  were Type: G80-11900HRMGB / 01 which is Cherry MX Black switches with double-shot key-caps. ie. they are not the same.

Keyboards arrived today, Made in Czech Republic. Comparing with my other MX 11900 Beige and the Compaq MX 11800, to my surprise the OP black key-caps are much thicker/meatier than the standard Beige Cherry key-caps, it's even thicker than the Wyse Double-shots. Typing wise, the Compaq 11800 seems slightly flimsy in comparison. If kbd manufacturers make key-caps to this standard, we would not need to go in search of double-shots. Maybe the difference is due to these being produced by the Czech plant. I surmise that they are well worth purchasing at this price.

I have a funny feeling your wish will very soon be granted.

They type very well, if you find them too heavy, you can always swap springs with browns/blues. If you don't like the format, then harvest the switches and transplant to a different kbd. All for the price of a few packets of cigarettes.

Just finished taking the KBD apart, cleaned it and polished the casing with Carnauba wax (if anyone asks "Are you crazy ?" I'll visit them on a Sunday afternoon and repay the compliment when they wash their car).
As I am now settled on using Cherry Brown switches, but wish to use this board (scroll-pad left/right click in its' proper place in comparison to the Compaq 11800, also better build quality), I proceeded to swap the spring and stems of the switches.

Escape : Space :      Brown Stem + Black Spring

Arrows :      Black Stem + Brown Spring

All Others :   Brown Stems + Brown Springs

NB: It is possible to mod these without the need to de-solder/solder, so it's relatively quick and easy.

Am now using it as my main KBD.   Time to go do the same same to second board. :bolt:

I only wax the  casing, to hide the scratches and look newer, never the key-caps. Carnauba wax also gives a very nice smell.

Ordered. Probably going to use the stems as donors to make MX reds.

Mine arrived today.

I'm absolutely amazed how the seller managed to sprinkle a liberal coating of dust and managed to pack it up without leaving finger prints...

It's a bit beat up - I'll test it properly tomorrow.

Mine came, here are some pics :

Note the scratch on the top.

The label is hardly legible, there was a large patch of Velcro attached to the underside:

I'm typing this message on it, and so far I'm very underwhelmed by it.
I'll switch to my trusty Model M in a couple of seconds, as it feels very mushy.
So i've learned that I very much dislike linear switches..

Mine has arrived. Surprisingly clean, nothing worse than a bit of dust inside it.

MX blacks are unbearably stiff, I swapped the stems into my main keyboard and I'm now typing on MX reds, which feel pretty good. Haven't had any problems with accidental keypresses yet, but then again I haven't used it much yet. Nice and quiet too.

As has been previously mentioned, the black keycaps are much thicker than the beige/white ones which shipped with my g80-3000 (also made in the Czech Republic), and they also weigh significantly more, both are PBT. They produce a lower pitched sound than the beige caps, and I'd imagine that the beige caps would transmit more of a tactile bump than the black ones, though I haven't confirmed this as I can't be bothered to swap any more switches today. Doesn't apply to linear switches though, of course.

Luck dips. Cosmetically, I have one good/dirty and one scratched/dirty.

I modified both to Brown with exception of Arrows to Red and Escape to Grey. I may re-mod one to Red to try, sometime next Week.
Wish I had some red coloured stems, they would look much more........ummmmm when all the caps are off. So no one else can see the colour of the stems when the caps are on, but I know and that's what counts.
