Question regarding Redragon ARYAMAN K569
« on: Tue, 11 June 2019, 00:53:30 »
Hey, I want to buy Redragon ARYAMAN K569 (it comes with Outemu blue switches). I wanted to ask if it's possible to replace a few switches in it with other switches? (like i want to replace one Outemu blue switch with Cherry MX Red). Is that doable easily?

Aryaman does not look to have hotswappable pcb so you will need to unsolder the switches to replace them. You'll need to remove the back/bottom plating to access the underside of the pcb. It's easy if you've done it a few times, very nerve wracking the first time around. I don't believe gateron switches nor zealios are compatible either unless you shave off the two plastic mounts on the bottom of the switch.

Short answer: you can do it, but it'll be more difficult than just plug and play

Ultimately at the price and quality of the keyboard and the price of buying additional switches, if you're just trying to get MX Reds or something in there you'd be better off buying a board that already has those installed.
