Hello all!

I am gathering interest on a possible meet up for Asheville NC.

Reasons for Ashville: The mountain scenery there is very beautiful, it's not too far from the surrounding cities from other states such as Atlanta, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Greenville, Spartanburg.

UPDATE: Meetup will be held on 3/21/20 @ 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST

Hell yeah! I'm in Charlotte, so this would be perfect. Asheville is a cool place, and if you are into craft brews, there are literally a million craft breweries there.

Expressing interest. I'm in the Shelby area so this would be a pretty easy drive for me, and Asheville is familiar enough with as much as I was there in 2016 for med stuff

. Also had to say November since there was no October choice in the IC form.

Some updates for the meetup.

We now have a few sponsors for the event!

-Dixiemech
-CannonKeys
-TheKeyCompany

These 3 vendors will be showing their support by providing various things to giveaway at the event. I myself will also be giving some cool things away

No updates yet on a venue yet but will be getting that soon. As for the polls currently, the winning months are November & March. Expect the event to be held on a Saturday in one of these months. I realize this is a fairly large time gap, but I am waiting to see how the polls may change over the next week or so.

Very excited for this! I'm just down in Greenville, so this is perfect! Do you have a venue yet?

Edit: the company I work for has offices in Biltmore Park. Depending on the number of people attending, I can offer the use of our meeting space if you don’t already have something else lined up.

I just got a call from the venue and we will have to postpone the meetup for a few months. Sorry for those who were looking forward to this but we will still hold the event, it will just be after this whole Corona scare is over and the venue lets us hold it!

I was born and raised in Tennessee, and lived in Knoxville in the 1980s-1990s. Most of my family and friends are here. This is home to me.

My family and I are there every few months anyway (well, we are when things are a little less crazy) so barring a work catastrophe I am totally in for this !
