Nice colors. The 1.75 backspace in the 40s kit should actually be R2. It is for the minivan, correct?

Going to get in on this next week, I still wish the Hangul kit was base or at least setup so we’d be left with enough keys to fill up 2 boards instead of having a bunch on non-used alpha caps but guess it’s a little too late now. Hardest part is going to be deciding which desk mat to go for :p

In for Base kit! Got a feeling this and Firefly will become highly sought after if people sleep on them now. Let's hope people come to their senses straight away. Good luck with the GB!

Great and unique set, got myself base and spacebars earlier.
Regarding the mods: In the IC you were unsure if you were to use the old or the new molds and didn't state your final decision.
Mykeyboard and the keyboard renders here have old ones while the kit render in this thread and on the product pages of pkb and dc have new ones, so
I'm assuming you settled on new molds?

Sorry the proxies are set before GB launch. Will consider for future GBs

Are you sure? The PnC 40s kit was recommended by the 40s community. Would like if someone can chime in with actual evidence otherwise it will stay the same.

Yes, new molds. I will forward the updated assets to mykb and dailyclack.

Yes, I'm pretty sure. The 1.75 backspace in 40s kits is R2 and is for the Minivan (also the Planck uses a 1u backspace on R2). These are my 2 most used 40% boards, so that's why I noticed. And I created the 40% Discord...so there was probably discussion there a while back about about a good 40s kit. Anyhow, the set looks great and I hope it does well.  :thumb:

It's more than just the 1.75 backspace whose row is marked incorrectly. All the R1 keys in the 40s/Ortho kit should be R2, and the row labeled R2 should be R3. Keep everything else about the kit as-is -- it's great. Especially keep all the space keys convex!

Compare to other recent sets with similar 40s/Ortho kits.

there are really too many gmk sets at the same time, this situation is not positive because it penalizes a lot of sets

What's wrong with using a custom color? A spectrophotometer is being used to analyze samples and GMK is very cooperative to matching customer RAL colors. They also have the same RAL D8 deck that I have on hand.

As someone who has done color matching with GMK, I can tell you that GMK takes it very seriously. The samples I received, even on the first try, were extremely close to the Pantones - Pantones, not RAL. They profess to being able to match RAL colors even better. I would not worry about it.

I just realized there is no 2u shift. I'm guessing it's way too late to add it to the base kit, but that would have been awesome. While I'm at it, a 1.25u convex space would have been super awesome. I'll just have to comfort myself by buying the set anyway, since it's pretty awesome as it is.

Are numbers typically this low for smaller GBs? I kinda expected this to hit MOQ faster than this.

Are numbers typically this low for smaller GBs? I kinda expected this to hit MOQ faster than this.

This is an incredibly tough month for keyset GBs with 15 this month, 11 of them being GMK (these numbers are counting October GBs that have ended, as well). I'm letting funds recover a bit, myself, before hopping on this, because I definitely want to help make this happen.

Same boat, this month's releases has set me back two TKL kits, GMK dracula and GMK cafe. I'm waiting until November.

Good points.  It has been tough to say no to some of those.  Helps that I have 4 other sets on the way already   This one, I couldn't say no to.

I really like this set, and I know it's a minor thing, but I can't justify dropping the money on a set that doesn't have full and proper UK ISO support (Yes, some might say I'm just being pedantic about keys like "2, £3 etc. but). Good luck though!

There are 12 GMK sets that begin in November. Many November 1st, but Ursa on the 18th or 19th I think. Camping and Dracula have been monsters. Plenty of customs recently too. Lin, Elli Love, M0lly, Fox 65, Rama M65, and other boards have all been on in the last 4 weeks too.

Been a very hard environment for child kits.

This is at or over halfway to MOQ for most of the kits, and we're on day 15 of 32, so chill out! Encourage people to join for this awesome set, instead!
