Are there any ANSI layout keyboards with linear or clicky Space Invaders? Looking for something with decent build quality that isn't bigger than a Dell Bigfoot and doesn't cost a ton. What exists? Thanks!

Both exist but are rare and quirky. I have owned both but I am not where I can access my records so I will try to find it later.

The black clicky ones are on a Mac-layout keyboard with nice PBT keys printed in green ink but in a horrible compressed vertical font.

The white linears are in an ADDS that started with an RJ14 but was convertible once I got the pinout from the controller.

edit - sorry, the green one also comes with white linear, I forgot that I had transplanted blacks into it (strongly NOT recommended!)

Heh, I purchased that board from fohat a few years back.

I sold this one to andrewjoy on DT a few years back too. These come up but are rare. White linears.

So hopefully I can shed some light. There is few boards that support ANSI:

  • ADDS PC+
  • N-97SYS
  • RT-101
  • Tandon version of ADDS PC+

Some of these are very hard to come by I know that Elecplus had some ADDS PC+ a while ago but not sure if they still have some.
