I mean is it really Half life 2.5? It plays between half life episode 1 and 2 if i remember. Didn't read much though since i am not rich enough for VR

The people behind Unicomp are the same ones who complained to a news outlet that the reason they were losing business is China, which is funny since they're making the same crap they've been making for 20 years while baiting people with an SSK that an engineer/designer with a degree should've been able to produce within a few months.

I'm gonna assume it's going to be similar to when Realforce R2 first came out, like there will be a date they come out but they'll release Japanese layout first and English layout will come way later so I'd say pad that number by another half year to 1 year.

So basically expecting to see it maybe late 2020 or early 2021 maybe.

That's.. not how R2 came out though? The limited release edition was even in ANSI, not JIS. ANSI came at the same time as JIS since their huge Chinese market uses ANSI, it's the ISO layouts that come later or never.

Though I didn't see it available in North America until wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy later, though if you buy it straight from Japan I'd imagine you can probably get it earlier.

Oh certainly, that’s true. I believe they don’t even have an American retailer anymore and just go straight through Amazon; I just happened to be passing through the country and so could get one at release. I guess there just aren’t enough customers to push them into releasing earlier.

Went to Tokyo last November and asked a Yodobashi staff. They said they don't have an idea when they would be available for sale but they were expected Q4 of this year. Also, I was not able to find any Pro2 left. Only BT and ISO JP versions remain for sale.
