Just a noob looking for a not-so-bad keyboard. Is this any good, or is this what it's called - POS?

I'm going to suspect it's rubber dome (not good), but that TrackPoint might be usable in mods (price is high for that purpose only though).

I wonder if that cable has the same SDL pinout as the M5-2 dual PS/2 cable?

Looks like an ANIPOS. They are heavy-duty rubber domes. Not great for typing, but high-quality overall.

I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

Looks like some later derivative of the Model M7... rubber domes anyway.
