I like how Sepp Blatt called it "national music". It isn't music, it's horrendous!

However, I don't think they should be banned. They're too epic, it'll be like trying to ban Chuck Norris or dividing by zero. Something nasty will happen and we should just leave them alone.

I want them banned at the matches... Its crossing the line when the players on the field can't hear their calls to one another. Post match and whatnot, sure, but when it affects the game?

The difference between a pro athlete and a guy kicking a ball in his backyard is that the pro athlete has to deal with things like crowd noise and pressure. It's part of the profession and the game.

That's my take on it anyway.

watching the different leagues in europe the vuvuzela will be nothing compaired to the Italians ans Spanish as their crowds are crazy and noisy.

The vuvuzela is 131 decibels at the opening. In the US, anyone working in such a loud environment would be legally required to be provided with protective equipment.

The players are saying that they can't hear each other too.
