[IC] Lockheed 3*3 Macropad
« on: Sun, 19 January 2020, 10:47:50 »

Lockheed is a PCB top mount 3*3 macropad, the aim was to make something small and sleek but highly functional, I decided on 9 keys because it was just the right amount to store my common work loads in fusion, kicad etc.

Please click here to fill in the IC form.

The top profile was drawn manually and has very few straight edges in order to make it look and feel unique.

The bottom is  made from polycarbonate as I have mine set up to change the colour of 4 RGB leds depending on what layer am I in so I can easily recognise what workload I am using. There is no plate. The PCB is designed by me, it uses a type-c USB port, has 4 WS2812B RGB LEDs on the underside and does not support in-switch LEDs. The PCB files will be hosted on my GitHub for anyone to modify as they like.

Manufacturing will be handled by Salvun with anodising and cerakoted options. It will be manufactured with 6063 aluminium and polycarbonate.

Mykeyboard.eu will be handling the buy and shipping, if you would like to act as a proxy for your region please feel free to get in touch with me here or by any contact method listed here: Reddit, Geekhack, email, discord.

If you have any questions or comments about the case/pcb/buy structure please ask here or by any of these contact methods:  Reddit, Geekhack, email, discord.

The current projections place the price at approximately $90-100 USD per unit with an MOQ of 25. Cerakoting will be an additional expense per unit. This price is not guaranteed at this time and is subject to change.

The plan is currently to run this buy in March-April of this year with a projected shipping time of July-August though this is also subject to change.

Woohoo! I suppose more exotic materials for the top are off the table for this?

Loving this look! Especially for artisans--the functionality of it is moot for my purposes  ;D

if there is sufficient interest to make it worth the time/investment then we will absolutely look into it.

Looks very nice, was looking for something with 9 slots for my artisans.

Definitely in for one!

Your choice depends on goals and opportunities. I work in the field of copywriting and often use these keyboards for my employees. You will process information using Grammarly and some unique programs. A convenient keyboard allows you to create a good product that you can touch. It's not a joke. We write voluminous texts that can help you with the dissertation.
