Model M space savers at unrealistically high prices

It's not so unrealistic if you've been following the price trends of Model M Space Savers lately.

Last NIB one from comptekw2k went for over $220 I think? And he sells a new one every week.

fair enough. Just seemed steep to me. I guess it's a price trend.

Not really...it's been hovering around that point for ages now (CAD exchange, that is).

I just discovered I have three Model M space savers, not two as I thought.  I bought them new in 2000 or 2001 but the boxes are long gone.

Oh, and I noticed the amazing $28 shipping fee.  WUT?

I have a question: are all of these keyboard single-piece keycaps or did they make them in two-piece?

$28 is shipping to Canada - it's ebay.ca

That's likely exact cost as well, not marked up by seller for box or anything.

Those were $100 boxes!

The minis are like M's, some have two piece keys, some do not.

Oh.  If I sold them then the buyer would be pissed.  I took one apart for cleaning and noticed that I had replaced several of the keycaps with the wrong types many years ago.  Oops.  Of course I have the originals but it was a weird finding.
