GMK FINER THINGS

ABOUT

GMK Finer Things is a cap set based on a signature colorway well known in the world of luxury.
This set is meant to be simple and bold, a combination that is easy to achieve, hard to master.

Some of the novelties, namely the ring, moped, sunglasses, and perfume, have been modified to be slightly simpler for the sake of manufacturing. While the board renders have not been updated to reflect that, the kit render has. Please refer to the kit render for the final form of these novelties.

Wow these numbers are pretty bad. Is cannonkeys and/or whoever came up with the color way not very good at advertising? I’ve hardly seen anything about it anywhere else, and I remember cannonkeys had the America popsicle set that failed last year. I was totally in for a base kit here.

CYSM Caps have concluded. ArtKeys is working on getting me pictures of the protos as we had to have some rework, the raffle should be shortly after. Please keep up to date in their discord to make sure you don't miss it.

As for numbers, I'll be talking to my vendors today about this set and see what we can do about it.

GMK Delta also failed through Canon (sort of). It wasn't even close but they bought out a **** load to make it run. Maybe they'll do the same here. I agree they need more social media presence. Posting/pushing it and using hastags can go a long way especially when it's struggling.

Well, this kinda water under the bridge now, but it didn't help that the original designer backed out and left the vendor to do all of the heavy lifting including creating Geekhack and Reddit posts.

Edit: Talking specifically about GMK Delta. Also, just a correction to the first quoted person. GMK Rocket, the one with the "America popsicle", was not run through Cannon Keys.

Ah my bad. I edited my post to reflect. I didn't know that history, I guess that makes it hard. Although the colors are great I do find the novelties for this one pretty bad, maybe that doesn't help too

Just confirming, are all of the spacebars in the spacebar kit convex? I'm looking at the render for the spacebar kit, and it seems like the 1.75u doesn't have the same curvature on the sides as the other spacebars, which suggests that the 1.75u isn't convex.

At the moment, they are not. I will be adjusting that post GB if I can. Up until recently, 185C wasn't available. They are now, this was brought to my attention after the GB has started.

It was still open for preorder on Candykeys. I jumped on it, because this will be a great kit for the 60% board I'm making for my girlfriend.

And if I want I can use some of the 1u 40s/ortho mods for my Corne with blank alphas.

Here's hoping the order won't be cancelled.

Edit: After checking I found all Candykeys GB's to be open for pre-order. I just mailed support to let them know.

There is no chance this is in our hands by august. This ran after literally over 9000! kits of Dracula and Olivia ++ which will very likely ship first. I still don’t have camping or crimson cadet from October ‘19. I’d think Q4 is more likely.

Would be cool to see sample caps for color when they arrive though.
