You already have these switches on your rare siig minitouch with blue sliders - it's the full size equivelent to your rare siig..  Yeah, clicky, delightful switch.

I have been searching for a better dressed Monterey kbd for Months, not really liking the flimsy Chicony casing but the switches are delightful. A shame this seller only ships US, else I would have purchased that SIIG MiniTouch (Montereys) 17 Days passed.

The pic of the switch seem to have some white bit in the centre, hope I'm mistaken but it seems to be part of the cap-stem.

Yes, this is awesome.  Thanks for the information.  They're sweet switches.

I still am on the lookout for clicky ALPS.  I think I have at least one coming in the mail.  I heard a rumor that SIIG's full-sized Mechanical Keyboard and the DSI equivalent are clicky ALPS but I have not been able to tell for sure.

Yeah - if you are near a fry's electronics they have the siig mechanical keyboard on dispaly at fry's, they are clicky alps.  It's overpriced in my opinion but you can try them out there.  The chicony with blue switches actually feels quite white-alps like in my opinion however it is much lighter and crisper in comparison...

In comparison, the OP switches looks more like Low Profile Blue Sliders (Pic from ALPS Wiki) as seller stated rather than Montereys.

Just got the keyboard in today.  It's much quieter and the click is more subtle than my Model M but at the same time the Chicony is more pleasant to type on.  The quieter sound looks as if it is due to the thin, plastic case that Chicony prefers.

Blue Monties are a treat, for certain.
Just the sound alone makes them worth it.

Using two names for one thing is bad clarity.
Using the same name for two things is bad clarity.

I an I go to Kingston mon, get me blue monties fo ma cherry gal.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

My observation is still valid. It's a multipurpose rule. Works for comic books, gangbanger slang, and technical documentation, too.

I'm going to clean it up and put it in the permanent collection.
It's filthy and the switches are a bit less noisy than my equally filthy Monterey SIIG Minitouch.

Now it's time to collect real and fake ALPS clicky which, to be frank with you, was the whole point of buying those two keyboards.  I still do not have a clicky ALPS.  I will probably buy a DSI ASK-6600 and make myself get used to the slightly wrong layout.  I used to work daily on a SGI Indy workstation and I hated that clicky keyboard like death (which is precisely why I bought three brand-new-old-stock IBM Model M Space Savings from Jameco in 1999) so I'm not too sure I really do like clickly ALPS after all.  I certainly don't like clicky Cherry Blues but the mistique is more the reason for my search.

Enough rambling...

I caved in and picked up the NEC APC H412 this afternoon.  Intriguing board I suppose, allegedly lighter than cherry blues and the NKRO was a bonus.   Really just a combination of boredom and curiosity I guess.  :-)

I'll probably put it back on ebay if it's not my cup of tea...
