Oh yeah, I had originally scaled the case for a 60% then was like wtf, why not, and made it huge.

I mean, in reality I don't think anybody is going to buy something this huge but maybe use the negative space better and put like a trackball or something in there. I actually have a few friends at work who use trackballs for CAD.

i kinda dig it, though its a bit odd to have no gap on the left side of the keys, but then to have a huge gap on the right side.

Legends kind of hard to read on the keycaps and it's ironically called "the basic," when most of the negative space is unnecessary. Nice go at a render though!
