X-keys Stick

Just wondering if anybody has any clue what switches are used in X-Keys Stick, i'm assuming Cherry MX switches, but i'm not certain.

I'm only considering these since the Gigabyte GK-K8000 got cancelled and I just prefer single key macro keys when doing programming and what not.
Also anyone owning them and how the software works would be nice also.
Also with an eye for modding, you could buy 4 rows of these and make a really portable mechanical keyboard.

The key switches on the Xkeys are not typical mechanical, very short travel, not something we see on a lot of boards or keypads.
Also, the software is pretty straight forward and user friendly. Good luck.....later

Though Cherry MX switches are used on most of our current devices, the X-keys Stick is different.
The switches are low profile tactile feel. You can get a better look at them and get more info
here
(scroll down to "Low Profile Tactile Feel Switches" -- they're part number XK-A-177-R).
