Recently, I got to try some lubed (with 3204) Gateron Yellows . They sounded great but I found that when doing typing tests something was off. It was as if the switch travel was too little but it is around 4mm, which is pretty normal; or it kind of felt the switch actuated too soon and that it was too light for me. Btw, I am coming from a membrane laptop keyboard and on average I get 75wpm, but with the Gateron Yellows i was getting 45wpm. I mean it makes sense because I have to get used to it but even then I thought it was doing really bad. Anyways, I figured that they were too light for my taste so I am going for thinking of trying some more heavy switches. I am looking into Kailh click bar switches and their heavier linears like Pro Berries and Dark Yellows. I saw there was some speed versions to their heavy switches and the navies and I am really interested to know how they are. I am getting these switches to play games but mostly work. I know that the navies and maybe even the jades will feel pretty fatiguing when playing games and so I am prob not going to get the navies. I will still test the jades though. However, are speed navies any better for gaming?? and how are speed pale blues and the speed dark yellows compared to the original ones? Are they smoother, are they heavier? If you have any experience with these switches, I would appreciate a comparison. Thank you.
