This is my first time building a keyboard from scratch including soldering and hopefully programming it. I got 'everything' up and running on my mac, and followed the PCB vendor's instructions around installing BootMapper in order to map my keys. The PCB came already flashed so basic functionality is ok, but I'm trying for a minila layout so some keys need special programming.
Anyway, when I try to connect my keyboard to BootMapper I keep getting this error "error opening ps2avrGB device: The specified device was not found".
I've tried everything I've found online and now I'm a the end of my rope. Some things I've tried: connecting directly with a USB C to USB A cable, putting the keyboard in reset mode, restarting everything, trying different ports.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work?
