http://cgi.ebay.com/Cherry-G80-3494-Keyboard-Black-G80-3494-Linear-White-/270602674492?cmd=ViewItem&pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3f012d213c

The title says G80 3494 "Linear White." Wait, what? White switches aren't linear, at least not the modern ones. Linear white to me sounds like MY switches, but "G80" indicates MX. Then in the pictures he shows an MX red switch from a completely different (white) keyboard.

Then his name is "hehehaha.hk" and some of his pictures have a "Night Flying" logo, which naturally brings to mind the phrase, "fly by night". But he has a reseller rating of 99.1% for 106 sales.

This one just leaves me scratching my head. WTF?

The description says it's got red MX switches. Maybe the guy's meaning that the keyboard itself is white, not the switches. But the pictures show a black keyboard.

So I don't really know what it is either.

If it does have MX reds then these would be a gold mine for swapping. Buy a dozen, swap into a more popular keyboard, ?????, profit.

Assuming the seller isn't high/stupid/an *******.

Why not send him a message and find out exactly what these things are?

Wait, he responded to another buyer saying that it comes in black and white colors. So that solves that question. And the picture of the switch must just be of one of the white ones, though why they didn't stick with just pictures of the black, or pictures of black and white, I don't know.

Ouch, just noticed the $89 shipping. So that nixes the value on that. Still, it's a way to get MX reds.

The price isn't unreasonable either, considering you'd pay just as much if not more from any buying agent.

I don't think it really costs 90 bucks to ship a keyboard. What do they do? Send it around the world ten times and then to your house?

Or maybe it's next-day shipping by supersonic jet.

It's all talked about here

LMNOP seemed to explain it later in that thread.
