The backspace key is in the wrong place

Why is that? The HHKP2 would be such a PERFECT keyboard if it were not for the wrong placement of the backspace key. Is there a way to fix it?

Who said it was wrong?  And no, there is no way to change it.  Give it about 5-10 min.  I think you might like it in that spot anyway.

And no, the BS in that area is just nice as it doesn't stress the pinky that much compared to standard layouts.

Actually I think the HHKB is perfect... except for the small size of it, I mean what gives why is it so small??
