I'm gonna just leave this here and trust that the community will rise up and build one of these into a proper cherry mx aluminum housing since it's open source.

It’s pretty cool. I’ve actually been working on a modern TI-99/4A which supports a Raspberry Pi. I’ve finished the Solidworks model and the keyboard PCB, but still have to finish the speaker design. The 400 might be a better candidate than a regular Pi.

I can see that being replicated using Choc switches or the low-pro mx variants.  Also some modification to the key layout would be nice to have as well to make them to a more standard cap layout where needed (ie the alphas).

Thank you. Couldn't agree more. This machine is amazing. The only letdowns are the caps and switches. I have no doubt a proper one will be made in the future which is why I am waiting a few years to buy. For now, I'll be happy with the new C64.

I was going to say it does resemble the Apple board/laptop layout boards.
